Kathy Katz is a Certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), educator and mom who empowers individuals to take a look at their health through a nutritional lens. She believes in the power of real food to help patients heal and embraces a holistic, evidence-based approach to nutrition.
Kathy works with patients in a friendly, non-intimidating way to help them reconnect to nutrient dense foods and nourish themselves as a basis for wellbeing. She loves collaborating with patients to develop strategies that inspire and she adopts a high touch, hands on style as she supports her clients’ commitment and accountability for life long results.
She is extremely practical in helping patients plan simple meals and “go to” foods as she realizes that eating clean and creating new habits are a challenge!
Originally from upstate New York, Kathy has called Austin home since 1999. Kathy and her husband have three daughters and three dogs and love spending time hanging out with family and friends. They travel whenever possible and Kathy’s favorite place to visit is “anywhere” in Europe. Kathy enjoys tennis, scuba/snorkeling, skiing, yoga and Austin’s restaurant and music scene.
